A few years ago my sister called me to tell me that she was dating a very well known radio personality from our area.  I had heard of this guy before but didn’t actually listen to his particular radio station.  But I soon tuned in just to hear what he sounded like.  Well I fell in love with his voice.  Then I was extremely fortunate to meet this man in person.  He was an extremely nice person and was very easy to get to know and like.

Well it was because of him that I now listen to this radio station all the time.  And this morning when I turned on my radio I was quite shocked to hear that he passed away yesterday.  The radio station did a half an hour tribute to this man and by all the comments he was well liked and will be missed.

My sister and him broke up quite a while ago, but it still did make me quite sad that we lost one of the greatest voices in radio.
