Having the talk….
All you mothers who have little girls know exactly where I’m going with in this post now don’t you??
Well most of you know that I am a mother of three children. Two boys and a girl. Well it’s my daughter and what lies ahead for her that has gotten me to thinking these days. Although she is only 10, I can see the signs of puberty hitting her so I am fully aware of what is next. Next will come her first period and because I am the mother, it’s my job to prepare her for this. I can tell you this is one job that I’m not looking forward to and I can also admit that I have been putting it off. I really was unsure how I was going to broach this discussion with her so until I could find a way that I would be comfortable with and knew she would be comfortable with it I wasn’t prepared to tell her about.
Well I have found a perfect way to have this little talk that absolutely needs to take place. I have found a brand new innovative product that is going to help me to broach the subject with her, explain every detail to her, and enable me to answer any and all questions that she may have. This product can be found over at Her Changes. And the product is called Changes. Two mother’s that have five teen aged daughters between them came up with this very innovative and valuable product to help mother and child discuss all the changes that are occurring in their lives due to puberty.

This product contains a guide to help you discuss all aspects of puberty and their first period in detail, mood pens, journal, calendar and perfume. The mood pens and journal are for the child to keep track of her moods during this traumatic period of her life, a calendar so she can keep track of her monthly cycles and the perfumes so she can wear them with whatever mood she is experiencing that day.
I think this product is such a great idea because it will not only help the child discover why they are feeling they way they are feeling, but it was also help mother and child get ready for the day when her first period arises. Although my daughter is only 10, I can see the signs of her entering puberty already. She is quite moody, I have seen a change in the way her clothing fits and she is starting to get acne. So I know the time is coming shortly. And with this product I feel that my daughter and I both will have a better handle on what’s going to take place in the near future.
So if you have a daughter who is entering puberty and you were looking for a way to help you have “the talk” then I highly encourage you to check out Her Changes. You will be amazed at how well this product will help you and your daughter get through a very difficult time.
