Happy day but kind of sad

Posted by: Kim   in family, life

On Saturday my father in provillus hair treatment
law is getting married.  This is a very happy day for him for obvious reasons, but it is still kind of sad as well.

For 47 years my in-laws were happily married.  Then in September of last year my husband’s mother passed away from stomach cancer.  Yes, my father in law did morn her, but has now decided to move on.  So eight months after her death he met a new woman and asked her to marry him.  She said yes and the event will be taking place this weekend.

Now on to the sad part…

Neither one of his daughters will be attending this event.  They both have valid excuses why they will not be attending, but it still is quite upsetting to their father that they won’t be there.  Plus any of his friends from the town he used to live in are refusing to attend.  Their reasons for not attending is because they don’t agree with this wedding and they refuse to be a part of it.  This makes him very sad.

But he is going to do what he is going to do and they will as well.  My husband and I and the kids will be attending so hopefully this will cheer him up a bit.

That really is sad. They may not agree, but that is just wrong to not attend and be supportive of their friend, no matter what, he’s an adult and it’s his decision. He will definitely be glad to have you and your family there.

it’s maybe hard for the other children to accept his decision. well, at least your family will be there… i hope it will be a happy moment for your dad in law.

i agree with LYNNE its a sad day when your children dont support you. they should understand that there father and mother’s love story is never going to end even if he has moved on. In his heart he will always love his wife that passed away. i think his children and selfish and wrong. As for the neighbors to heck with them!
