Ghosts and goblins

Well tonight’s the caralluma burn
night! When all the ghosts and goblins come out to play. I have a couple of very excited children at my house today. My daughter (who is ten) will be going out as the devil and my son (who is eight) will be going out as an army man. They have a lot of plans about how they are going to get the most candy possible and I’m pretty sure that a pillow case will be involved.

As for myself, I plan on staying in my nice warm house and getting a peak at all the little ghosts and goblins that come to my door. My poor husband on the other hand will be the one who has to run around with the kids (and yes, my son plans on running) and standing out in the cold while they collect their loot.

So here’s to a happy Halloween to you all.

We live out in the middle of nowhere so trick-or-treating usually involves and car and still not that much candy in the end.

This year my mom invited us for dinner on Halloween at her home in Syracuse. The kids were excited about being able to walk and get more candy. They all headed out with pillowcases, but they decided when they had just about the same amount of candy that they would have got out here to head back because their feet were tired, and they were cold!
