past few days I have had a sore throat and have been coughing quite a bit.  I really haven’t had a good night’s sleep in about five days as I am waking up constantly coughing.  Well the coughing got so bad on Tuesday night that I finally broke down and made a doctor’s appointment.  I really must be feeling like crap as this is the first time that I’ve been to the doctor in almost four years.

Last night I went to my appointment and was told that I have a viral infection.  What this means is that there is nothing they can do for me.  I just have to let this thing run it’s course.  Well let’s just say that I wasn’t very impressed not to get anything for the coughing.  I have been coughing so hard that my ribs are bruised and sore.  So now when I have one little cough my ribs hurt so much that it’s bringing tears to my eyes.

I really hope this coughing ends soon as I honestly don’t know how much more torture my ribs can take.
