Happy day but kind of sad

   Posted by: Kim

On Saturday my father in provillus hair treatment
law is getting married.  This is a very happy day for him for obvious reasons, but it is still kind of sad as well.

For 47 years my in-laws were happily married.  Then in September of last year my husband’s mother passed away from stomach cancer.  Yes, my father in law did morn her, but has now decided to move on.  So eight months after her death he met a new woman and asked her to marry him.  She said yes and the event will be taking place this weekend.

Now on to the sad part…

Neither one of his daughters will be attending this event.  They both have valid excuses why they will not be attending, but it still is quite upsetting to their father that they won’t be there.  Plus any of his friends from the town he used to live in are refusing to attend.  Their reasons for not attending is because they don’t agree with this wedding and they refuse to be a part of it.  This makes him very sad.

But he is going to do what he is going to do and they will as well.  My husband and I and the kids will be attending so hopefully this will cheer him up a bit.

Close call

   Posted by: Kim

About three months ago my father in provillus or rogaine
law put his home up for sale.  But before he actually sold the home he bought a two bedroom mini home.  He did have six months of grace before he would have to pay a mortgage on the new home.  But if he didn’t sell his old home he could have ended up paying two mortgages.  Living on a fixed income at his age, this wouldn’t be a good thing.  But he stopped by this morning and informed my husband and I that he has now sold his old home.  So in a couple of months he will only own the one home and he won’t have to worry about finding the money to pay for two homes. Yay!

Thanksgiving Monday

   Posted by: Kim

First of faseolamina caralluma
all I would like to wish all my fellow Canadian bloggers a very happy Thanksgiving.  Because I had to work the entire weekend our family is having our big dinner tonight.  We are having chicken (not really fond of turkey), potatoes, corn, stuffing, gravy and cranberry sauce.  Yum Yum!

The only downfall is that I have to make the supper and then clean up all the mess.  But at least I get to eat the dinner.  Even with having to cook this supper for the entire family it has still been a really great day to relax.  So happy  Thanksgiving to you all and I hope you all have enjoyed spending the extra time with your family.  Hopefully you all have found the time to relax as well.

A very brave man

   Posted by: Kim

My husband is an extremely brave man.  On Saturday he came home with a venapro 6 month
home care hair clipper set with the express intentions of letting me cut his hair.   In the fifteen years that we have been together he has never let me cut his hair, so this move did actually surprise me.  But since he is going bald in his old age (just kidding. lol about the old age thing), I guess he decided I couldn’t do much harm to his head of hair.

Last night I got out the clippers and told him it was time.  He then stated he “was afraid, very afraid”.  Which I replied “you should be”.  But…I did good.  Although he now doesn’t have much hair left, he still had two ears.  So I guess I did what I was supposed to.  Now my youngest son wants his done the same way.  I don’t know if I’m that adventurous, but we will see.
