One of my friends is expecting her first child. And at her age, this will probably be her only child. So she has decided that she wants to purchase some Birth Baby Invitations to announce to the entire world that this little miracle will be taking place. Her and her husband have been trying so hard for a baby, that when she first found out she was expecting she wanted to just rush out and buy all the Baby Birth Invitations and announcements that she could get her hands on. She has slowed down in this thinking a little bit now. Now the excitement of knowing the baby is on it’s way has died down a little bit, she has decided to take her time in finding the most perfect baby announcements that she can find. She has found some baby shower invitations that she would like to hand out when she gets further along. I’m just so happy for her and her husband and I look forward to sharing this joyous occasion with her.

Boys night out
When Friday arrives this week, my husband will then be home for a week’s holidays. As the kids will be finished school at this time, we do plan on taking them camping during the week, but my husband has made his own plans for the weekend. Saturday night a group of the guys that he works with are all going out to play with their Gas Airsoft Guns. All of them have their own Airsoft Gas Guns so they thought this would be a perfect activity for them all to do together. My husband was the first to get his gas airsoft gun and then it seemed like the rest of them followed. He doesn’t go out very often so his plan of playing around with airsoft gas guns really doesn’t bother me that much. Now all I’ll have to do is find something of my own to do that night.
My blog didn’t break
Well the upgrade is done and my blog didn’t break. How did I manage that you ask?? Well I will happily tell you. I took a look at the process that it was going to take to do the upgrade and realized straight away that there was NO WAY I was ever going to be able to do this on my own. So…I did what I always do and that was e-mail one of my blogging friends. Thank god this girl is on the Internet and knows what she is doing. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve e-mailed her in a panic over the past couple of years and she has graciously helped me each and every time.
And who is this wonderful person you might ask. Well it’s Lisa of course from http://mythoughtsideasandramblings.com. If it wasn’t for her, I would have had quite a few broken blogs. So…thanks again Lisa. And now I have all my blogs upgraded to the newest version with no broken blogs in site!
Back to normal
So I am really happy to report that the family has survived all their sickness troubles and we are now on the road to recovery. I don’t think I have ever seen an entire family as sick as my family has been and I really hope that we never have to experience this again. My two kids are back in school, my husband is back to work and I have gotten back into my routine as well. So we are all happy and healthy little critters once again.
If any of you guys have been hit with this terrible sickness as we all were, then my thoughts are definitely with you. I would never ever wish these types of illnesses on even my worst enemy.
After a couple of years of blogging, setting up blogs and maintaining them, I can honestly say that I’m as comfortable in the blogging world as I can be. I have managed to achieve all this with the help of a lot of blogging friends that I have met along the way. Without their knowledge and patience there is no way that I would be where I am today with so many blogs on the go.
So when a friend of mine asked if I could give her a hand setting up her very first blog, of course I said no problem. So yesterday we spent the day IM’ing back and forth and now she has a brand new blog to call her own. I was so pleased that I was able to help her with this. It was nice to be the one helping out instead of the one asking for help.
Surprise!
Today is my youngest son’s 8th birthday and yesterday was my daughter’s 10th birthday. So the family is having a surprise birthday party for them this afternoon. They think they are going to their grandfather’s to visit him. They don’t realize that their aunts and uncles and cousins will be there as well. For the past two weeks I have been keeping this secret.
So this afternoon we will be headed out to my father in law’s for a barbecue (in the rain) and cake. And I’m pretty sure there are a couple of presents waiting for them as well. lol Their just happy to be going to see grampie. I can’t wait until they see everyone else.
Problem solved
If you read my previous post, then you would have discovered that I was extremely frustrated with my computer and trying to download the SezWho plugin. I was almost ready to give up on the entire thing, until I remembered a good blogging buddy of mine, Lisa is a wizard at Word Press. She has helped me out in the past so I thought I would ask her if she could give me a hand with this.
Not only did Lisa help me out, she actually got all the plugins on all my sites up and running. So I would like to send out a great big thank you to Lisa for all your wonderful help and wonderful patience. I honestly don’t know what I would do without you.
