I am almost ready to send this computer flying out the door. Man… if it gets any slower you going to actually see a turtle walk across the screen. I honestly don’t know what to do about this. I have ran my Norton Anti-Virus several times and have cleaned out a crap load of files. But still this thing persists in hanging. It has gotten so frustrating over the past few days, that I haven’t even felt like working on the Internet. Trust me when I say this, this is not good for business! Oh well, I think I’ll only have to put up with for about another month. In a months time I will get my income tax refund back and that’s where the money is going. So hopefully I can last the month without throwing this darn thing through a window.

If you’re a regular reader of this blog, then you are well aware that I make homemade jewelry and other crafts and sell them from home. Lately this endeavour hasn’t really been working out in my favour. I have sold a few pieces of jewelry and a couple of quilts, but I really don’t have the business that I would like to have.

One thing that I have done is set up a dedicated website to sell my crafts from. I have managed a few sales through this website, but to increase sales, I’m thinking that I’ve got to bump things up a bit. One of the things that I have been looking at to increase sales is to start using a website credit card payment processing system. I have heard that by using credit cards to get payments from customers you can increase business. I have been checking out the www.braintreepaymentsolutions website to see what it would take for me to be able to start accepting credit cards as payment. It seems to be a very straightforward process and I have decided to try this out. Hopefully by offering the option to used credit cards, I can start having the sales that I’ve always dreamed about.

I have not had a great week with my computer. Earlier in the week I got a message on my computer that I had a “critical systems error”. Well to say that I was a little frightened was putting it mildly. My computer was telling me that I received 60 threats to my system. So I did a full system scan and thought I got rid of the errors. Well I’m not sure that I did. I still have pop up messages coming up that I have these viruses and Trojans. So I’m going to do another scan to try to figure this out. Man…. sometimes I just hate computers.

Well as you all know, I have been trying my hand at transcription. First of all, let me tell you all that’s it’s not as easy as it sounds, but the little bit of work that I have done, I have thoroughly enjoyed. Well last night I got word from a guy that I have been doing a bit of work for lately that since I’ve been doing so well, he is going to keep my busy at least until the end of August. This is great news!! I get to do something that I enjoy and get paid for it. How much sweeter can life get??

So as you all know, over the past couple of months I have been trying to start up a small home transcription business. Well things are going a little slow, but I guess that’s what happens when you try to start something new. So I have decided to try to kick things up a notch. I have decided to order some Business Invitations to get the word out about my existing transcription business.

But, since I don’t want to spend a whole lot of money on this type of advertisement, I have decided to order my Business Invitations Announcements from www.express-invitations.com. This company is well known for the quality of their

Earlier in the month I received a chance to do some general transcription from home for a company. They sent me my first two files, and after a little emergency I was able to get them finished. They were very understand about my emergency and worked with me until I could get it finished. As this was my very first work with them, I kind of thought that maybe they wouldn’t use me again because I wasn’t able to meet the deadline. But, they liked my work and offered me more! So I have been doing a lot of work for these guys and was just informed that there will be more on the way. There will be so much work that they will be able to keep me busy until sometime in August.

So, if you haven’t seen me around very much lately, now you know why. And if this other work does come through, then I won’t be around a whole lot during the summer either. I’ll keep you posted.

As you all know, I have a provillus vs
part time job outside of the home plus I do a little bit of Internet work as well to earn a little more income. I only work about eight hours a week outside of the home so I don’t earn a whole lot of income that way. This is why I also try to earn income through working from home. Right now I do some paid blogging, some paid article writing as well as some home transcription work. All of this does keep me busy. Some weeks more than others. For the next couple of months I will be really busy writing articles and I also have a couple of contracts for some general transcription jobs. So, it’s really good that I get this extra income and I’ll take it when I can. I’m not real sure how busy I will be after the next couple of months, but hopefully something else will come up.

That’s the thing when a person relies on this type of work for income. You just never know when it will come and when it does, you just have to be thankful that you have the work. At least for now that is.

So I guess earlier this month Google did it’s dance once again. I didn’t even realize that a provillus before and
page rank update had been done until I went into one of the forums I frequent and seen some talk about it. The reason why I hadn’t noticed was because I don’t blog as much as I used to so I really hadn’t paid much attention to it.

Well, after this update every blog I own is now a pr 0. Oh well, it was good while it lasted I guess. Since I’ve been blogging for over two years now, I really don’t pay too much attention to Google page ranks anymore. I realize they really don’t mean a thing. So now I blog for me and my readers and not for Google.

So how did your sites fare this time around. Did you go up in rank, stay the same or go down as I did?

Well I spent an entire week looking for a on provillus for

I really have to wonder where the companies around here the employ transcriptionists buy their equipment. So, since I was unable to find one in an actual store, I have decided to purchase one online. This means that I will have to wait an extra week before I actually have it in my possession and will have to pay shipping charges, but I really do need it, so I guess I’ll have to go this route. After my foot pedal arrives, I will be then that much closer to my dream of working from home as a general transcriptionist. I just wish that it didn’t take so long to get the actual equipment in my home to do the job.
