I can’t believe that I didn’t come in and tell you all about how well the kids did on their report cards. Oh well, better late than never. On Monday the kids brought their home reports home. My daughter who is in grade 5 did really well. She got three A’s, three B+’s, and three B’s. This is really good for a child in grade 5.
My son who is in grade 3 did really well as well especially for the type of child he is. He can’t seem to stay still to concentrate and really despises doing his homework. But he came home with one A and the rest were B’s. So I was quite pleased with his results as well.
Hopefully they both continue to do really well over the next few months. They love school and it seems like they do well in it. So here’s to another good report in March.
My daughter is seriously into horses and the entire cowboy lifestyle. So I have decided to purchase her something different this year for Christmas. I have found a site that sells cowboy hats, cowboy boots and cowboy accessories. I would love to get her a pair of boots and a hat from this site. Her interest is so great in this area that I’m sure she would go really crazy over these boots and hats. They carry all the popular brands and if I place my order soon, I will be able to give my daughter the gifts that I know she would really enjoy come Christmas morning.
After a couple of years of blogging, setting up blogs and maintaining them, I can honestly say that I’m as comfortable in the blogging world as I can be. I have managed to achieve all this with the help of a lot of blogging friends that I have met along the way. Without their knowledge and patience there is no way that I would be where I am today with so many blogs on the go.
So when a friend of mine asked if I could give her a hand setting up her very first blog, of course I said no problem. So yesterday we spent the day IM’ing back and forth and now she has a brand new blog to call her own. I was so pleased that I was able to help her with this. It was nice to be the one helping out instead of the one asking for help.
