I am almost ready to send this computer flying out the door. Man… if it gets any slower you going to actually see a turtle walk across the screen. I honestly don’t know what to do about this. Man… if it gets any slower you going to actually see a turtle walk across the screen. I honestly don’t know what to do about this. I have ran my Norton Anti-Virus several times and have cleaned out a crap load of files. But still this thing persists in hanging. It has gotten so frustrating over the past few days, that I haven’t even felt like working on the Internet. Trust me when I say this, this is not good for business! Oh well, I think I’ll only have to put up with for about another month. In a months time I will get my income tax refund back and that’s where the money is going. So hopefully I can last the month without throwing this darn thing through a window.

Now this didn’t really affect me too much. Yes, I did lose an hours sleep, but I just slept in an extra hour this weekend. lol But it certainly did affect the kids. With the time changing, my youngest son is now walking to the bus stop in the mornings in pitch black. I completely forgot about this from last year. He really didn’t mind, but I was a little nervous when he left for the bus this morning. But…. he made out fine. His sister walked with him and made sure he got on the bus. So I guess I worried for nothing. Hopefully soon it starts to lighten up a bit in the mornings and he won’t have to walk in the dark for very long.

Yay! Last week was such a long…. week that I really couldn’t wait for this day to arrive. Yes, I have tons of work to get done today and over the next few days, but having no one around and underfoot will help me concentrate and get all this work done. So…. I’m just going to enjoy the day and try to get over the horrors of the last couple of weeks. lol

After two weeks at the Olympics, Canada came out on top! We managed to get the most gold and also the most medals of the Olympics. I know, it sure sounds like I was there competing now doesn’t it?? Nope, I was just there in spirit. Now with the Olympics over, I really don’t know what I’m going to do with my time.

Oh well, I’m sure I’ll find something. So congrats to all my fellow Canadians for their outstanding efforts during the 2010 Olympics!

Next week is March break and I have to tell you all that both kids are quite looking forward to this. Me… not so much. Normally when these two are home for any length of time, all they do is fight. So if they hold true to form, then I get to listen to a whole week of fighting. Hopefully they will prove me wrong. Maybe then we will all have a great March break!

Because I gave up the weekend shifts at my job, I decided to pick up some extra income on the Internet to replace my income. Well I spent the entire weekend (10 hour days) doing general transcription on my computer. It really wasn’t a fun weekend for me or my family. Yes, I would like to earn this extra income at home, but I honestly can’t put in another weekend like I just did. So I’m just going to have to try to work things out a little better next time.
