End of the school year
Friday was the children’s last day of school. They both brought their report cards home and to tell you all that I was highly impressed is a mild understatement. My son passed grade 4 and was even able to bring up some of his marks from last term. My daughter passed grade 6 and actually earned a couple of awards. She was given a medallion for commendable effort and she received honors. So now they are both home for their summer vacation and are planning on enjoying a well deserved vacation after a job well done this past year at school.
Long week already
It’s only Monday and it’s already turned out to be a long… week. My husband is home on holidays and seriously folks, I’m not kidding when I say he’s worse than my two younger children combined. This man cannot seem to amuse himself at all. So he is constantly picking at me just for something to do. I really hope the weather turns out nice today. Maybe then he will go outside and find something to do. Otherwise, it’ going to be a very long vacation for me. I’ll need a vacation after his vacation just to recuperate.
Spring cleaning
I absolutely hate to clean! I don’t know if there is anything worse in life that I would rather do. But unfortunately the house needs cleaned and I am the chosen one to do. I do have to admit that I do love the look, feel and smell of the home when I’m am finished all my work. And with products from Febreze and Mr. Clean, I actually don’t mind all the extra work.
Last week I was sent some products from Febreze and Mr. Clean to try out. Well I did and they are absolutely wonderful! But first I would like to say that although I did receive these products free of charge, the following review is my own opinion and I was not instructed on what to tell you all. These opinions are completely 100% my own.
The products I received included a Swiffer 360 Duster, Mr. Clean Magic Eraser, Dishwasher Tablets, Mr. Clean and Febreze Disinfectant, and my absolute favorite product Febreze Thai Dragon Fruit Spray. I absolutely love the smell and look of my house this morning. I’m always fond of Febreze air freshers and do get quite excited when a new fragrance comes out. Well once again they did not disappoint. And the cleaning solution worked magic in my bathroom.
So… if you’re like I am and absolutely despise spring cleaning, then I suggest that you get you’re hands on some Febreze and Mr. Clean cleaning products. With the help of these products, spring cleaning will become less of a pain and more of a joy. You’ll love the end results! I did!
Getting caught up
Well I’m finally starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel. My work schedule has slowed down considerably which is a good thing. I don’t want all these hours at my outside job and am quite pleased to see that these shifts seem to be winding down. Now I can concentrate more on my home life. So by the looks of things you should see me around a lot more often. Now that I’ve said that, keep your fingers crossed that I didn’t just jinx myself. lol
Update
It’s been a long time since I’ve been in to visit. Life around here has been pretty crazy to say the least. I have had all but one of my family members sick, I have been working a lot outside of the home, I have been doing a massive amount of general transcription from home and I am now running back and forth to the doctor’s myself for some medical issues. I’m really hoping that life starts to slow down for a little bit but I honestly can’t see that happening. But I do promise to try to get in here a bit more than I have been over this past month.
So if you’ve been wondering where I’ve been and what I’ve been up to, well now you know.
Lots to do today
Well today is going to be another one of those long… busy days. I have so much work to do today that I don’t even know where to get started. I have tons and tons of computer work to get finished and I know that isn’t going to happen overnight. Then when my youngest son comes home from school I have to help him with a book report. Then I have to feed him and his sister and head of to work for a few hours. So yeah, it’s going to be busy. Hopefully I can get a lot done before they get home from school otherwise it’s going to be a very…. long day tomorrow.
Wish me luck.
